Year-End Benefits
End of year at work usually means benefit renewal time.
But did you know many employers participate in a GIVING PROGRAM and will ALSO donate to a non-profit when YOU choose to give back? You can search for your employer using the button below to see if they participate in a gift-matching program:
If your employer gives you an option, consider giving a few dollars to our meatball heads. Help us stay off ONLY FANS and allow us to keep saving the babes who needs us the most.
Food. Treats. Homemade toppers. Supplements. Toys. Enrichment.
It’s not cheap. But these dogs have already been let down enough. With your donations - and some smart corporate matching - we can ensure that these wonderful babes never have to go without food, enrichment, or necessary medical care again.

Ruffy Tuffy's Easy Meal Topper
-2 lbs of Ground Beef (85/15 is fine)
-1-lb bag of Mixed Vegetables
-1 Tbs Dog-friendly Beef Broth* (Robin uses Honest Kitchen Bone Broth )
-Water (1-1/2 cup)
In a large saucepan, brown the meat on medium (~7 min) until fully cooked. Drain. Then add mixed veggies, water, and dog-friendly bone broth. Bring to a boil, cover, and then simmer on low until vegetables start to lose their color (usually 20-30 min). Let cool.
Store in Ziploc containers in the freezer, and defrost one at a time on the counter or in the fridge. Microwave and serve ~1/2 cup on top of dry food for a treat that smells amazing, aids digestion, and hides pills if giving medication.
One cup of topper is ~266 calories, making it equivalent to ~3/4 cup of Diamond Naturals Dog Food. Recipe makes about 6 cups.
*Dogs can't have onion, so avoid beef broths for people.

Pit Bull Awareness Month
(October)
We spend the month of October dressing our pitties up in Halloween costumes, showing off their silly personalities, and proving that these big-headed babies are so much more than the stereotypes people put on them.
But Fat Head Fosters to us is so much more than cute costumes and adorable pictures.

Our mission is to save pitties from our local shelters, help them find loving, responsible homes, AND educate the public by debunking the stereotypes surrounding this incredible breed.
Behind every blocky head, goofy grin, and wiggly butt is an individual dog with their own personality, their own story, and so much love to give. They deserve to be judged by who they are, not by how they look.
This month, our pups have been everything from spooky to silly, but the real treat is getting to show the world who they truly are.
So as we wrap up October, we challenge you to do a little trick of your own: break a stereotype, share a positive pittie story, and give a misunderstood dog a chance. Hop on our social media and interact to spread the love!
We believe every pittie deserves to be seen for the love they have to give, not the labels placed on them.
Costumes come off. Stereotypes shouldn't stick.
